Almaya 2017
Almia 2017 is a rich and mature red wine from the Abuhav Winery, a meticulous blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Today, eight years after the harvest, the wine displays the depth, structure and richness of flavors that characterize a mature and complex wine. The wine is produced from selected grapes from the Upper Galilee vineyards, which were hand-harvested and underwent controlled fermentation. Aging in French oak barrels gave the wine a smooth and rich texture, complex layers of flavor and a long and precise finish. Over the years, the initial fruits have matured and the wine is now reaching full maturity. Wine character: full and rich body, smooth and round texture. Complex flavors that develop in the sip – a combination of strength and softness, with subtle touches of wood and spice. A long, clean and impressive finish, which leaves a strong impression of a mature wine.
